Brainstorming
The food that I will be describing for my culture is Butter Mochi. One special memory I have for this food is begging my mom to make it for my birthday party. This snack is super delicious, and I could eat it for every meal. I can remember the chewiness of the treat being munched inside of my mouth. I can just taste the butter and sweetness. Some sensory details I can use are the aroma of the butter. Tasting the deliciousness, and hearing my mouth chew the snack. I will be interviewing my mom for this because she is the only one that makes this for my family.

I felt that you had a really good paragraph. I like the way you showed how special this mocha is to you. Like how you ate this at parties. Also, I like how you described the ways it looked and the physical details. The only thing I think you can improve is to show more descriptive sensory details. An example is the aroma. How did it smell besides the buttery smell, How did you react to it? Good job over all though.
ReplyDeleteI like how you described the mochi with descriptive words. I could almost picture it in my head. You could add how you feel when you eat the mochi. So we could get an idea of how much you like it. I like how you included the sound when you bite into it. Good job
